Who We Are

mantler.jpg

Edward Mantler, M.D.

In my medical practice I try to learn what's important to my patients first.  Then I try to blend what is important to the patient with the most effective medical treatments. I try to work with my patients to obtain measurable, achievable goals.   I like to use as few medicines as possible and at the lowest dose possible to get good control of the problems we are treating.  If you are avoiding alcohol, tobacco, and excessive carbohydrates in your life, you should not need a lot of pills.  I am a good listener but also  honest and upfront about what needs to change to maximize health.

R. Jerry Naegele, M.D.

Life is full of choices, problems, and opportunities sometimes compounded by illness, stress, and misfortune.  My goals, as a doctor, is to cure when possible, relieve suffering when not.

My background includes graduation from UC Berkeley, Creighton Med, Creighton Surgery Internship, and UNMC Family Medicine Residency.

Spare time: exercise, philosophy, physics, and trying to improve my little patch of the world, with one act of relationship kindness at a time.

Also, I edit these pages, so please let me know about any mistakes, thanks!
